United Way of Southwest Louisiana recognizes the important role prevention and intervention play in
the overall strides to improve people’s lives. With that in mind, we have expanded the number of
community health charities under the United Way umbrella of programs and services to twenty charities.
We have also added two new agencies; Allen Outreach and Volunteers of America.
With the help of
many caring and committed volunteers - - together we are strategically investing
in quality programs, building partnerships, engaging people in our community and leveraging resources
towards the solution.
